Stop putting pipelines and other potential environmental disasters near Indian communities

Dear Editor,

I applaud President Obama for delaying an attempt to put the Keystone XL Pipeline from Canada to the Gulf Coast. The pipeline would have made the American Indian communities who live there, sick if it contaminates the water in which they drink. I hope President Obama will end his quest to put a pipeline through part of the country immediately.

Shell Oil Company is also about to violate the rights of Indigenous People in Canada by putting a  pipeline through the communities of the Athabasca Chipewyan People.
