Snoqualmie pot day for Willie Nelson just a gag

Snoqualmie, Washington (AP) July 2011

The Snoqualmie Tribal Council passed a resolution declaring marijuana legal on the reservation effective on July 30.

The resolution that was passed on a 4-2 vote is signed by Chairwoman Shelley Burch.

The Seattle Times reports it appears to be an official document. But Burch says it’s a gag souvenir the tribe plans to frame and present to Willie Nelson when he performs that day at the tribe’s Snoqualmie Casino.
