Water is Life #8 - Defending Clean Water in the Penokees (7:23)

Today we start on the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe reservation with two young men who went out spearing with the grandfather the night before and brought in two large Muskies. One that they donated to the LCO Harvest Camp in the Penokee Hills National Heritage Park that some people had thought would become the world's largest Open Pit mine. Since the spring of 2013 LCO members have established a base camp for resource gathering and historical study that is opened to the public to visit in Iron County, Wisconsin. With Paul DeMain in the Penokee Hills.
