Madison, Wisconsin (AP) Feb. 2010

A bill in the Wisconsin Legislature would require schools to drop Indian-based mascots and logos or face possible fines. A list of schools that could be affected, as provided by the office of the bill’s sponsor Rep. Jim Soletski, D-Green Bay, are:

Auburndale: Apaches

Baldwin-Woodville: Blackhawks

Belmont: Braves

Berlin: Indians

Big Foot: Chiefs

Black Hawk: Warriors

Cornell: Chiefs

Elmwood: Raiders

Fort Atkinson: Blackhawk Indians

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau: Redmen

Greenwood: Indians

Kewaskum: Indians

Kewaunee: Indians

Lake Holcombe: Chieftains

Lancaster: Flying Arrows

Menomonee Falls: Indians

Menomonie: Indians

Mishicot: Indians

Mosinee: Indians
