ARIZONA, Cowsprings – Funeral services were held for LUPITA MAE HOLIDAY, 78, on October 30, 2010, at the Cowsprings Church. Interment followed at the family plot in Cowsprings. Lupita was born May 7, 1932, in Cowsprings. She passed away October 27, 2010, at the Flagstaff Medical Center.

    Lupita was a foster mother to many children. She worked at the BIA, Monument Valley Ranger Station and a school board member for Kayenta Schools. (Navajo Times, November 4, 2010)
