Police with a southeastern Arizona tribe are asking for the public’s help in identifying a body found on the reservation.

San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation police say the woman’s body was discovered last week in Gibson Wash.

Authorities say the woman is described as being 30 to 40 years old and 5 feet 7 inches tall.

The Arizona Republic says the victim’s body showed obvious signs of trauma.

The San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation spans Gila, Graham, and Pinal counties.
