A Porcupine man will spend 20 years in federal prison.

Twenty-year-old Lucas New Holy was sentenced for his guilty plea in February to second-degree murder.

He was originally indicted for first-degree murder in a beating death on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation last November.

He was accused of using a baseball bat to beat Steven Janis, resulting in his death several days later.
