Minot, North Dakota (AP) April 2010

A St. John woman has pleaded guilty in federal court to stealing from a group of Indian Health Service employees.

Acting U.S. Attorney Lynn Jordheim says 36-year-old Jessica McGillis faces up to a year in prison and a $100,000 fine when she is sentenced June 14 in Minot.

Jordheim says that McGillis served as the treasurer of the Belcourt Hospital Employees Recreational Association in 2008 and took money for personal use. She pleaded guilty to larceny.
