Ronald Smith being paroled would be an outrage

Dear Editor,

Hello from Canada. I just read your article about Ronald Smith, the Canadian murderer on Death Row in Montana.

I have been following this case since it happened. As far as I am concerned, Smith absolutely must be punished under Montana law. The thought of him being sent back to Canada and being paroled is an outrage.

The families and friends of the victims must be respected. This was one of the most brutal, senseless crimes in Montana history, and Smith can’t be allowed to cross the border and escape his guilt.
