Blackfeet Tribal Business Council keeps chairman

The Blackfeet Tribal Business Council has re-elected Willie Sharp Jr. as its chairman.

The nine-member council, which voted on executive officers during North American Indian Days in Browning last week, also decided to keep Peter ``Rusty'' Tatsey as vice chairman and T.J. Snow as secretary.

Sharp was re-elected by Blackfeet voters during June. Tatsey and Snow were not up for re-election.

Council members serve staggered four-year terms, but the council selects its three executive officers every two years.
