Lincoln, Nebraska (AP) November 2010

The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program.

The Nebraska Enterprise Fund, of Oakland, will receive a $300,000 loan and $75,000 grant to help provide training, technical assistance and loan preparation.

Northeast Economic Development, of Norfolk, will use a $500,000 loan and $105,000 grant to help Native American tribes, Hispanics, Sudanese and Somalis in northeast and north-central Nebraska.
