Moses Beaver paints the stories he heard in his youth, traveling in the Canadian bush by dogsled, hunting, trapping, and fishing.

He's on a mission to bring back the old stories through his painting.

During November he's teaching bush skills at the Teaching Drum Outdoor School near Three Lakes, Wisconsin.

The group is building a smoke house tee pee to preserve deer meat and fish.

There are many budding artists in Indian Country.  And Moses Beaver encourages them by boosting their self-esteem.

"I don't tell them what to do.  They watch me and develop their own style."
